The paid for version of uTorrent is in the finalisation stages according to a release from the parent company BitTorrent. The uTorrent Plus product aims to provide better codec support, easily convert file formats, and make it easy to move files between devices. There has been no talk of pricing but seeing as most people already have enough tools to take care of this (and seeing as those tools can usually be acquired free under freeware licenses) will people pay for uTorrent Plus? BitTorrent explains that they will still keep the development and release cycle of their free uTorrent program (which has over 100 million active users) though we are sure the premium version will be better supported.
